To subscribe to the journal’s monthly Table of Content Alert, please go to the Springer site and enter your email-address in the respective field of the “Alerts for this journal” box.
Online version
All ESR members in good standing have free and unlimited access to the online version of European Radiology
Access to the online version of European Radiology is included in the annual ESR membership fee. Information about ESR membership can be obtained at www.myESR.org/membership
ESR members can access full text articles directly from the monthly Table of Contents alert e-mail, and via the ESR MyUserArea:
- Log in to the ESR MyUserArea with your last name and Personal ID
- Go to MyJournals
- Click on the yellow bar (you need to repeat this step on two consecutive pages) and you will be then forwarded to the publisher’s website where you will get access to all full text versions.

In light of today’s publishing world, as well as the ecological footprint that everybody leaves on this planet, the production and shipping of printed copies of the journal seem no longer appropriate therefore the monthly print issue of European Radiology was ceased at the end of 2020. European Radiology is now an online-only journal.

- Subscription is valid until the end of the calendar year, regardless of when the print issue was subscribed to, starting from the month after the date of payment.
- Subscription expires automatically at the end of the calendar year, after which subscription must be renewed to continue receiving print issues of European Radiology, and this is only possible with an active ESR membership.
- Reclamation of missing issues is possible up to 3 months after the first missing issue should have arrived, and after this period there is no guarantee that remaining missed issues will be delivered.
- The issues will be sent to your specified membership address.
Translations
As the family of radiologists is steadily growing, it is becoming more and more important for the community of experts to keep track of the exciting new research their colleagues conduct in other parts of the world.
Without doubt, English today is the lingua franca of science, but it is also true that a majority of scientists do not speak English as their mother tongue. Reading research articles in their mother tongue makes it easier for scientists to concentrate on the scientific message rather than on the foreign language.
Tenemos el placer de presentarles los resúmenes, puntos y palabras clave de los artículos publicados en European Radiology en español. Queremos ofrecer este servicio a la comunidad científica hispanohablante, y esperamos que les facilite la selección de artículos interesantes. Las traducciones se han realizado minuciosamente por radiólogos con excelentes conocimientos del español y el inglés, coordinadas y editadas por el Dr Antonio López Rueda (Murcia/ES).
We would like to thank the CSR for their cooperation and their excellent pioneering work in this field: The Chinese Society of Radiology (CSR): the abstracts of articles published in the printed issues of European Radiology are translated into Chinese (Mandarin). It is our pleasure to offer this service to the Chinese speaking radiology community, and to add to the high profile of these studies and case reports by making them more easily accessible.
